January - Happy New Year 

It seems that I have ordered a bit too much champagne for the New Year celebration and don't know what to do with the remaining bottles...so please join me for full tea through the end of the month and the champagne is on me.  You may contact me directly to make your reservations at 602-522-6643. 

 February – Rose Petal Tea

As you very well know, Jeffrey loves love and romance is the key when it comes to Valentine’s Day.  What could be more romantic than champagne, long stemmed roses, rose petal-laden tables and a serenaded? According to Cupid and me, nothing is!

On February 13 and 14, I will be serving a very special Perrier-Jouet Rose Petal Tea.  Couples will begin their romantic afternoon with a hand-painted half bottle of Perrier-Jouet Fleur Champagne ($120 retail value) in matching hand-pained champagne glasses, a gift to take home in remembrance of Valentine’s Day 2010.  Each table is sprinkled with rose petals, on which a full three course tea is served, including a pot of delicate rose-infused tea. Additionally I will offer a special serenade to the love birds and deliver long-stemmed roses to complete the experience.  I pride myself on creating an environment that will make anyone fall in love, so if you are trying to woo that special someone, or looking forward to falling in love again…allow me to set the perfect backdrop for the occasion.

Red Hat Society Clubs are invited to join Jeffrey for Afternoon Tea on any weekday and receive a 10% discount on their full tea service as well as receiving a complimentary container of his signature Spring blend or a connoisseur's teapot.  Furthermore, Jeffrey will be selecting the most unique red hat during the month to receive a special invitation to the finals of the Festival of Hats in August (see below).  For more information and to make reservations, please contact Jeffrey directly at 602-522-6643.  Seating is limited so reserve early. 

 April – Cottontail Tea 

With a visit from Peter Cottontail and bonnets in abundance, Cottontail Tea is definitely an event with the children in mind.   The traditional afternoon tea service will offer an afternoon of refinement for the entire family.   However, the little ones should also look forward to a visit from Peter Cottontail, story time, and a beautiful basket of Easter treats.  Cottontail Tea is served Friday, April 2 and Saturday, April 3 with seating available at noon and 3:00 p.m.   The cost for Cottontail Tea is $35 for children and adults alike. 

May – Mother’s Day 

Although we should cherish our mother’s everyday, it is on Sunday, May 9 that we celebrate Mother’s Day.  Sons and daughters can treat your mother to a special afternoon tea and personalize the experience with a beautiful tea gift basket which may contain such items as a porcelain cup and saucer, a tin of Jeffrey’s Tea, or a soothing bath tisane.  Fresh flower arrangements can also be pre-ordered to create the perfect package for any mother.   

June – Father/Daughter Tea 

Nothing is more endearing than a special moment between a father and his daughter.  The Father/Daughter Tea creates the perfect environment for creating memories.  The daughters will all receive a bouquet of fresh flowers and the dads will be presented with a framed photo taken that day in remembrance of the afternoon together.  Father-daughter tea is served Friday June 18 and Saturday June 19 with seating available at noon and 3:00 pm.

July – Christmas In July

Why wait until December to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season when we can celebrate Christmas in July at The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix ?  Christmas trees, garlands and twinkling lights will have the lobby lounge bursting with holiday cheer as we host a weekend of celebrations.  There is a variety of parties designed to excite everyone in the family. 

Jeffrey Bear Tea -  The Afternoon Tea Mascot takes center stage for the second Annual Jeffrey Bear Tea July 10 and 11.  Gourmet hot chocolate with marshmallows, red and green lemonade, finger sandwiches and petite pastries followed by story time with Jeffrey and a sing-a-long around the piano will make for a magical and memory-filled afternoon.  Jeffrey Bear Tea is $35 for adults and $25 for children under 12 (not inclusive of tax and gratuity) with seatings available at noon and 3:00 pm both days

Cocktails and Caroling - Described by many to be the highlight of their holiday season, Cocktails and Caroling returns to the Lobby Lounge with a new twist on Monday, July 12 and Tuesday July 13 at 7:30 pm.  Let the sounds of the season take away your cares of the hot summer day as Jeffrey Hattrick, Nicole Pesce and their entire band perform the holiday classics as well as some new off-season selections in a musical concert event guaranteed to warm every soul. August - Festival of Hats

Perhaps the most anticipated event of the season, the Summer Festival of Hats returns for its tenth year. It's nearly as spectacular as making an appearance at Ascot . From pill box to sweeping brim, the hats are as varied as the teas.  Simply come to tea donning your favorite chapeau and you will be entered into one of the most posh fashion shows of the year.  Each week three finalists are selected in each of the following categories:

The finalist and a guest are treated to an exquisite afternoon tea on Sunday, August 29 where the socializing nearly supersedes the tea service. All participants leave with a bounty of photos as well as flowers and treats.  Three guests leave with grand prizes including Tea-for-Two every month for a year, a weekend stay in the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Suite, or a designer chapeau created by local designer Melissa Ondo of Ondo Creations.  

September – Children's Etiquette Tea 

Every Sunday in September we will devote the afternoon to discussing the formalities of proper dining geared toward the children.  While sipping hot chocolate or tea and nibbling on the classic afternoon tea fare, Jeffrey will teach you the way to behave like a lady or a gentleman when in any sophisticated environment like The Ritz-Carlton.  Although the dialogue is geared toward the little ones, much of the lessons will be appreciated by all generations.  The etiquette teas will be available at 12:00 noon and come with a small guidebook of etiquette to take home for reference.  The service is $25 for children and $35 for adults (exclusive of tax and gratuity).  Seating will be limited in order to effectively guide our conversations so please make your reservations early by calling 602-468-0700.

November/December – Teddy Bear Tea and Yuletide Tea

Teddy Bear Tea has become a family tradition for many across the Valley.  Teddy Bear Tea is served Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning November 27 through December 12 in the Lobby Lounge.  Adults will enjoy a traditional afternoon tea while the children will nibble on peanut butter and jelly and ham and cheese sandwiches followed by teddy bear treats. Hot chocolate and marshmallows complete the perfect Teddy Bear Tea. Children should also look forward to a visit from Ted E. Bear and story time with Jeffrey.  Reservations are accepted beginning October 1 at 9:00 a.m. by calling 602-468-0700.

Yuletide Tea offers an opportunity for a quiet holiday get-away for those looking for a truly traditional tea service. Served Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from November 30 through December 16 and everyday from December 20 - 30 (except Christmas Day), ladies and gentlemen alike will enjoy a peaceful afternoon in the luxurious setting.  Yuletide Tea is $35 per person or $45 with unlimited champagne.  Reservations are accepted beginning October 1 at 9:00 a.m. by calling 602-468-0700.

Spirit of the Season - A holiday tradition continues as Jeffrey Hattrick and Nicole Pesce take the stage at The Herberger Theater for a magical musical celebration with their entire band.  Details to come.
